Nuur Mobile is a smartphone device financing platform built for the Somali market. We help everyday people, students, entrepreneurs, households and small business owners, access a genuine smartphone today, and pay for it over time in small, manageable instalments, without interest.

We believe a smartphone is no longer a luxury. It is the door to mobile money, education, communication and opportunity. Our role is to make that door easier to open.

Our Story

Closing the gap

Nuur Mobile was founded to close the gap between the cost of a modern smartphone and what most households can realistically afford up front. In a market where mobile money is already part of daily life, we saw an opportunity to extend that same trust and infrastructure into device ownership itself, structured the right way, and free of interest.

Every plan we offer is built on Murabaha principles: a Sharia-compliant, cost-plus sale, agreed transparently with the customer before they sign. There is no riba, no penalty interest, and no hidden pricing, only a clear total price, disclosed up front, and paid down over an agreed schedule.

You apply, and we run a fast credit assessment based on your mobile and payment history, no lengthy paperwork, and no traditional bank account required.

Get matched

We match you to a device and payment plan you qualify for, from our approved catalogue of 8+ phone brands, over 3, 6 or 12 months.

Take it home

Take your device home the same day, and pay it down in instalments through your mobile money account, on the schedule that suits you.

Own it

Once your final instalment clears, full ownership of the device transfers to you, no strings attached.
