• Identity Information — Full name, date of birth, national ID or other identity documents where provided, and Guarantor identity details where a guarantor is required.
• Contact Information — Registered mobile number, alternative contact numbers, and physical or delivery address.
• Financial & Credit Assessment Information — Mobile money account details, payment history, instalment status, and information reasonably needed to assess creditworthiness at application (such as SIM usage duration and mobile money activity, where used as part of our assessment).
• Device Information — Device model, specifications, IMEI, serial number, and condition, as recorded on your Device Confirmation Slip, plus device-lock and connectivity status needed to operate the Device Lock Policy.
• Communications & Support Records — Records of your calls, messages and app interactions with our support team, for quality and dispute-resolution purposes.
• Website & App Usage Data — Standard technical data collected when you use nuurmobile.com or the Nuur Mobile app, such as device type, browser, and usage patterns.

• To assess your application, determine the device and payment plan you qualify for, and issue your Murabaha Financing Agreement and Repayment Schedule.
• To administer your Agreement, processing payments, tracking instalment status, and applying the Device Lock Policy where a payment is materially overdue.
• To verify a Guarantor's identity and confirm their understanding of the support undertaking, by telephone.
• To send payment reminders, account updates, service notices and support communications via SMS, WhatsApp, the app, or your registered mobile number.
• To investigate and resolve support requests, complaints, or suspected misuse of the Device Lock Policy or device-management systems.
• To meet our legal, regulatory and contractual obligations, and to improve the safety and reliability of the Service.

We do not sell your personal data. We share personal data only where it is reasonably necessary to deliver the Service, and always on a confidential basis:

• Payment & Telecom Partners — With mobile network and mobile money partners, to the extent needed to verify eligibility and process instalment payments.
• Guarantors — With the Guarantor listed on your Agreement, limited to what is needed for them to understand and confirm their undertaking.
• Service Providers — With providers who support our credit assessment, device-management (lock/unlock), hosting, or customer support systems, under confidentiality obligations consistent with this Policy.
• Legal & Regulatory Bodies — Where required by law, regulation, or a valid order from a competent authority.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your personal data confidential and secure, including access controls on customer and payment records and on the device-management systems used to operate the Device Lock Policy. No system is completely secure, and we continually work to improve our safeguards.

We retain personal data for as long as your Agreement is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet our legal, regulatory, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. When data is no longer needed for these purposes, we take steps to delete or anonymise it.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete data we are not legally required to retain. To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 11 below.

nuurmobile.com may use cookies or similar technologies to remember your preferences and understand how the site is used, so we can keep improving it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some site features.

The Service is intended for individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and financing is only offered to eligible adult Customers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. We will post the updated Policy on nuurmobile.com with a new "Last updated" date, and will notify you directly of any material change that affects how your data is used.
